After a swim in the ocean at sunrise on the summer solstice, my friend, Babbette, and I sipped café mochas at Starbucks. She asked me how the planning was going for my book tour.
I told her that I was contemplating the idea of doing a "Dream Theatre". She gasped and nearly spilled her sweet yet strong smelling mocha down her sweatshirt.
Her crystalline eyes twinkled, her posture sprung erect as she rolled the words over her tongue, her tone dripping with a combination of excitement and lust,
“D-r-e-a-m T-h-e-a-t-r-e…that’s the most fascinating thing I think I’ve ever heard…what is it???” She cocked her blonde head, still wet and sandy from our daybreak yearly ritual.
Between gulps of the frothy mocha and mouthfuls of maple scone that was quickly filling up my early morning rumblings, I began to elaborate about the Iroquois Indians and the fact that I have this idea to create a forum for people to express their dreams in a theatrical way…to help people fulfill the intention of their dreams...because so often we get awakened before getting to play the dream out to completion, so we are left in a constant cliffhanger.
"I think the goal of our dreams is to remind us that we are whole, perfect, and complete...that all the running around all day to prove how worth we are is just silly. What would happen if we could actually extend our dreams...any dream to its natural conclusion...I believe we would realize that we are victorious, empowered, magnificent beings that could truly get on with the business of why we came here to begin with!
Babbette blurted, “You must come to my acting class on Wednesday night!!! Our class will be the perfect place for you to explore and experiment with the Dream Theatre. Kia, my acting teacher is the greatest, and I just know that she will be into this!!!”

Needless to say, although it was day break...I had a buzz going on that kept me going all day (and as good as the cafe mocha was, I know Starbucks wasn't completely responsible!)
I can't wait to experiment with the Dream Theatre next Wednesday!!!
